Decided to post this up here, recorded this quite long ago. The whammy part in the intro sounded pretty weird haha. A little off in the solo and some stupid mistakes at the key change chorus. Btw those clicking sounds is the change in pickup selector, as I like to use the neck pickup for the chorus and chromatic runs in the solo.

Its never been satisfying, after playing on my new geetar for a week or so, I'm realising somethings missing. Couldn't find that awesome nice chunky tone. The neck pickup doesn't give me that nice warmth anymore. Strange ,yesterday seems to be fine and today is way different now. Probably gotta do something with my change in picks. So yep trying to master a couple of songs now, recently heard of some Slipknot songs which were surprisingly amazing, if you have the time do check out their songs, "Phychosocial" and " Before I forget". Ahh damn very bad flu now, wanted to try out those 2 songs but dammit, its in bloody drop A and drop B tuning. My strings will go "piak piak piak" by then!

Been a long time since I last posted, anyway just sold my old Ibanez and bought a Jackson RR3! Amazing guitar both for its playability and looks. Although its abit uneasy to play it by sticking it inbetween your legs, but yeah its an awesome guitar overall. Time to let the pics talk!

Ok got pretty pissed off today. Supposed to be a street soccer comepetition today but was postponed to next week. Darn it! So went to Lavender to make my IC thingy. Had to queue freaking long before taking my photo. Waste of money, $5.35 just flew away like that. Blame that retard for taking my photo from my wallet when i lost it in the toilet. So i stayed home practicing guitar, still trying to pass the String Skipping part in Scarified. Need longer fingers i guess? well currently gasing for a new amp and probably a new Fender Tele. GASING never ends... Anyway, the PGM neck is darn nice, gotta try 1 if you have the chance. Just a quick question,anyone plays dota on eurobattle.net?

Oh ya, went to quiz competition yesterday at Home Team Academy. Luckily there was transport for us for the trip. Reached the gates of HTA, many other cadets arrived too, in taxi! Haha, Owned??

So the 10 of us got down and marched all the way to harmony hall, only to know that we are at the wrong place, damn, had to march all the way back and into the auditorium. Pretty cozy inside , nice soft chairs and cooling air con. The only stupid thing was the table which was at an angle. Uh nevermind, worse still we've got information on the spot that the paper is individual work, felt a lump in my throat upon hearing that. Many other schools too, had the news there and was shocked. Yeah so we did the paper and went back to school. Well the paper aint easy and aint hard. Gold unit for this year? Well I'll say " Knowledge speaks and wisdom listens", i rather sit back, wait and listen...

Yeah... Went to the Swee Lee sale at Sims Drive 150, only to be astonished that there was an extremely long queue there already.

Whoa super crowded and a whole rack of Epiphones greeted me. Including several Gibsons with P90s on it. Darn cool. Walked over to the ibanez section, and saw the Epiphone firebird, wanted to test it but someone took it and started playing. He later went to purchase it if im not wrong, only to be put back onto the shelves. I saw the guitar i wanted. The PGM model, with an edge 3 tremolo, 3 piece wizard neck, 1 volume knob, infinity pick ups and reversed head stock. At a whopping price of $945. I later went to on the see the fender/ squire section, saw some pretty nice teles, probably going to get 1 if i have enought. DARN teles are hot! Not interested in Strats though, hate single coils and the Highway One series is to costly for me... There was also a huge variety of amps, some amps were going cheap! Even the tube amps were rather cheap too. Yes of course i forget to mention, theres a 50% discount on most of the items... FCUKING cool eh? Yea later went on the look at the pedals... many ibanez pedals left..

Back from ATC...

Well after 3 days of sheer "Training" finally got a chance to post something. Well what have I achieve in this 3 days aren't alot but it sure had an impact on me. During the 3 days we did High Ropes, Rafting and Orienteering. We also had another school to join in our area, Bukit Panjang Government High.

On the first day of ATC, had to pitch our tents, and it was totaly outrageous when we were given only 5 mins to pitch up our tents, and my group has only 5 men to do so...However we pitch our tent rather fast though. In my tent was Khairu, Daryl from St Gabriels , Moheimien from bartley Sec and Jin Rong in my squad... All of them were easy to get along...
Dinner later sucked.. noodles was all I ate and that was utter pathetic. We also had to survive with the lousy Chlorine filled water. Ugh~ But whats a camp without stories to tell??

Okay Im back! time to continue my story.
Hmm where did i stop eh?
Ok well day 1 was a short day and we had ice breaking games after lunch. I learnt how to play whacko and double whacko but did not had the chance to be the whacker, err maybe because I'm just too good at it? Well after ice breaking we had our briefing on our sentry duties. Honestly speaking, im glad to say that my group was the very first group to do. Yeah man. Nothing much happened during sentry, no wild boars, ghosts spirts or any shit... BORING!! Went to sleep after that.

2nd day was much shaggier or what ever you call it. We had 3 activities cramped into one day, and as usual, some activities were unable to be accomplished due to the time constrains. Pathetic, because of the same old reasons that I would not mention. The walls have ears. My group's first activity was the High Elements. It seriously looked quite easy from below, but its a different ball game when you are doing it. I stepped on the thin wire and i was going Holy shit! Darn its high indeed! I had to walk this line, with this funny moving pole which you had to hold on to that only disrupts your balance. The 2nd part was to walk on the horizontal ladder across , and the last 1 to swing back to the tower, quite fun eh.

Rafting was up next. IMHO I did not enjoy it at all. We were told to make a raft, Yes we did. We were told that without a safety buoyant one cannot cross the gate into the beach, Yes we did that and sat on the side of the road drinking water. And we got literally fucked by the CI as he retorted that we were drinking teh susu while the others with the safety bouyant were listening to orders. Yeah and the CIs get to sit under the drill shed while us (without the buoyant) stood there and watch the raft sink or swim... Okay i got to understand its US in the camp and not them(CIs)

Then we had orienteering, nothing much just one whole load of walking, really.

Dinner came and went, had 2 cans of pineapple as there were not much food left , as I had went for a shower before heading to the shed for dinner. I started filling up my water bottle with some pineapple juice together with the pineapple bits. Nah did not really worked though, but it managed to hide the "aweful" taste of the water there. All i'm pleading is just some f***king plain water that taste nice, and doesn't give stomaches upon drinking.

Yea, then we had campfire, Hoooray (NOT). The campfire was still okay initially but it turned worse I almost fell asleep, or maybe I fell asleep during it. Pathetic, the Sec2s weren't showing any signs of enthusiasm at all.

Bedtime came and we went to sleep hoping for break camp...
However only to be disrupted when my peaceful sleep have been awoken when everyone was rushing to fall in. I was stunned and i knew that we are bound to be terkaned by the CIs. We had to hold in push up position upon given the timing to go down. We were literally kissing the grass and I could see grasshoppers jumping and laughing at us in delight. And the grass that brush upon my skin seemed to attack my skin with thousands spears. Damn it. It was *no name shall be mentioned* CI. How freaking fierce he was as he screamed at us. It came through one ear of mine and went out of the other as I was half awake.

Ya and after that we get to get some sleep at last. Please some rest?

Okay, ive decided to post something to assure everyone that I am still alive (HOORAY). Been very busy this week, so this post would be short, in exact KISS( keep it simple stupid). Indeed the exams are coming, or rather came, and soon it will be all over. Well Ive already set for 4 papers and so far the SS was the hardest amongst all. Came across this beautiful axe on Soft Forum, a B.B. King "Lucille". Nothing much to post about really... Hmm so i decided to write some stuff on guitars...

Gibson Les Paul
These are wonderful beauties that is made from mahogany (backs and necks) with a maple top, which is rather heavy. This however gives the Les Paul more sustain due to its glue on neck, in comparison with its rival Fender Stratocasters. I currently own a Epiphone Les Paul classic that's made in china and it sounds great, and it weighs much heavier than my Strat Copy. The tone is very warm when put to the middle on the pickup selector and produces rich tones through the bridge pick up. Its trademark muddy tone through the neck humbuckers are awesome, overall its a wonderful guitar in terms of playability, tone and aesthetics. Certainly one guitar worth buying. When bought, its best to be fixed with strap locks due to its shape, which makes certain straps slip off. The Les Paul guitar is indeed synonymous to rock and roll and even clean sounds. The Les Paul Comes with 2 tone and 2 volume knobs which allows more versatility with your tones. With rosewood fingerboard, with pearl trapezoid inlays. However, despite making out of good materials, it is advice NOT TO drop it, as my head stock has already broken and amazingly it still plays beautifully. The only disadvantage of this guitar is that it has a single cut away shape which restricts much movement down to the 17th frets onwards. This guitar is also equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge which allow one to adjust the height of the bridge in case the action is too low which causes buzzing. Sustain is awesome for this guitar, and don't be surprised it owns a stratocaster in many ways. However each type of guitar has its own tone and find the best guitar that suits your tone! Some endorsers of the Les Paul Guitars are Slash from Guns N Roses, Ray Toro And Frank Iero from My Chemical Romance, Buckethead The Les Paul Shredder, and Zakk Wylde.

Hope that helps you and the Les Paul is certainly a rockable guitar to start off with !

Late night post. Studying for a history test for tomorrow, when i suddenly realised that the window was extremely blurred by a layer of "something". I opened the window and realised it was extremely warm outside and that the window had a layer of water vapour on it. Probably due to condensation, however my hand was damp and moist too. What a strange encounter, probably not strange to anyone of you. Anyway, have to continue to read about my Modern World history, where the incapabilities of the Weimar Republic that led to the rise of the Nazis. The Problems Of the Weimar republic... why am i saying this, argh! Extremely tired now... Gotta get some rest pretty soon. Hope I can get my GFX-5 pedal by this week!

Nothing much to comment on today... Went for shooting team training as usual in the morning. Did lots of exercises, I was completely tired out. Didn't even have energy to play soccer. Strange, its been so long and I'm still coughing and I often get breathless easily, wonder whats happening. Anyway, we discussed alot about our posts. And after the training, we went to MacDonald's for lunch and discussed about our upcoming ATC. Sadly there is no NPCC training next week due to the advance papers. Weird eh, I've dreaded NPCC trainings all the while, but there seem to be a change in this mindset now. Probably the excitement of being NCOs now. Like what our CI had said, many NCOs were merely pumped up initially and often lose interest later... I hope this certainly don't apply to anyone from the NCOs squad nor the Sec 1 squad. I really hope the sec 1s can persevere and understand the harsh NPCC discipline. Their current strength is only 24, as compared to the 27 from our squad when we were sec 1s. Now onli 21 remains, all thanks to a sissy and 5 power rangers.

So after i went back home, picked up my guitar and started listening to MCR's disenchanted. There was this few lines :

Its probably this line that explains my feelings now. Taking the sec 1 squad being a great resposiblity as everyone knows, start out good when you are young. Their upbrining is extremely important and the responsibilities for the year heads are very heavy. The CIs are expecting Gold unit this year and this will be the first in Zhonghua's NP history. However... This line :

Is this what we are looking at now? Despite high expectations and optimism, you won't feel a thing? Things are not going to be easy thats all i can say for now i guess. Well just enjoy the song.

Well, appointment parade was conducted today. Wasn't pretty surprised by the 5 EXCO members that we've been waiting for. They were Yan Chang as unit head, Benedict as admin head, Xiu Quan as Sec 2 year head, Samatha as sec 1 year head and Aqil as Logistics head. Haha, gald to say I passed my 2nd class drill test! Surprisingly i was appointed as the year 1 deputy head, seriously not what ive expected, and i hope to do a good job in it. Many were disappointed with the results... Its getting rather stupid now. After presenting the Doraemon to Mdm Careen , i couldnt really see if she was crying or not. However i got to say its hugmongous!
And indeed we are now official NCOs!! Yeah 3 cheers for the new NCOs squad! Now us, being NCOs, have different resposiblities now. We have to lead the unit and bring back the GOLD award for this year's UOPA. I refer to what Mdm Careen had said about squad unit. I feel that its extremely vital towards the sucess of the NCO team. Every training we might all do our own assiginments and not even knowing who is present in the sec 3 squad. Take some time and look at every small detail in your everyday experiences, won't you find something worth to ponder about? Let me write what i feel , " The world is so big, men and women are merely players. Why bother so much about your tiny little problem when something important is happening in the world. " Life is full of obstacles and set backs...Fight and win it, or just die. Maybe i should just go back and practise on a new guitar solo...

Really tired from today's 2.4km NAPFA run. Had a score of 11 min 22 sec resulting in a B. This adds up to my total tally of 29 out of 30 points. However I still was not satisfied, i believed i could have done better if my bad cough had gone away. I had difficulties breathing while running and was coughing very hard to try to get the phlegm out of my throat. Anyway, appointment parade draws near, and I met my cadet inspector on the same bus on my way back from school, and he refused to reveal anything about the postings. Hmmm, i wonder how well the new hierarchy chart will work, and how well i will perform... I got this strange feeling about gold unit, I know its hard to get, and everyones got high expectations, will they be disappointed? Anyway got ive got myself a new botak hair cut ...

2nd Class Drill Test

Glad to say, Ive made through it despite my bad cough and flu. There were times when I wanted to report sick, but I just continued to march on (poorly). Yes indeed, i did not perform well, I think I will fail this. However I don't mind... I just want myself to challenge limits and fight like a warrior. Despite me feeeling extremely ferverish yesterday, I actually did not want to attend today's Drill Test. I had a temperature of 38.7 and i was numb all over. I tried sleeping, but was sadly awoken abruptly when visitors came, and I was sleeping on the living room's crouch.
I was coughing madly even till now still... But i woke up this morning feeling much better.

After todays drill test, we still had Shooting Training, although we are totally overcame with fatigue. We did push ups, but i did extremely lots of it because of my Cadet Inspector. We sorta have a juggling competition and i sorta failed twice. First time i did 52 as i failed to reach 50 with a score of 24. So i had to do the difference x2. 2nd time, I did 1, not fair i was being set up, i dropped the ball on my leg and i did 49x3=147. 3RD TIME! I only had to do 8 but i was pushed when i did 6. This time it was 2x50. Wow thats a whopping 397!! After that we still played soccer and so on till we boarded the bus and it was raining dogs and cats.

One Day Of Being NCO

Today during training, sec 3s got a chance to assist in training for the whole training session. Got pretty excited initially and i had to take the drill session for the sec 2s. Well not exactly I only,
there was like 8 of us standing there while 1 would shout the commands, which looks rather retarted... I mean we're not going to do that if we take over right.?

Then after about an hour of drills, I had to reflect on many things. The commands given by my some of my squad mates was utterly stupid. One actually Belok ( turn squad ) into another squadmate who was standing there. GOLD UNIT come on! How are u going to get gold like that...

Hah PT came and it was rather fun. Seriously, the sec 2s changes in and out of their uniform extremely SLOW! Man they gotta work on that if not they will suffer in their NCO camp. I led set-exercises and we did sets of 30 and 35. Surprisingly they did their starjumps rather fast. However they were slow in recovering from their resting position and often ignored our orders.

After that, we get to conduct the debreif session, in which we recieved inconstructive replies like "outstanding" through the debrief session. We told the sec 2s their mistakes in drills. They got to work real hard in their marching and drills, which was disasterous.Really not feeling too well, coughing badly thoughout the whole training, hope i can perform better next training. Probably thats all... However im starting to feel the disadvantages of being an NCO already... Next week is the apointment parade, hoping for something good...

Hello people! I recently just bought a new guitar from another owner. This is an Epiphone Les Paul Classic, bought for SG$400. With 22 frets flamed maple top, tune-o-matic, mother of pearl inlays,2 tone and volume knobs, 2 humbuckers and Les Paul signature on it.

This axe is cherry sunburst in colour and this guitar seriously rocks... Heres my canon rock cover with my new Les Paul

Hello im back again, finally took some time of my life to change the skin so as to tell others, IM not a hardcore, heavy metal ,power chord spamming punk rock fantic. Well you might have seen the 3 people when u have enter the site. From left, Joe Satriani , who uses the JS Model made by Ibanez. Secondly is Steve Vai, who also uses the Ibanez, whose signature model is the JEM. Lastly one of the best alternate picker, shredding pro, Yngie Malmsteen (pronouce yig-ay or something) who uses a series of Fender Stratocaster. These people are from the G3 super group where they toured around performing around the world. Man u gootta respect them for their skills...

September Holidays what to do ?

With just maths homework only i guess i would have enough time to rest during the september holidays. However i still have to go to Npcc holiday training for 1 full day, which is really dreadful for me. I recently went to some guitar shop in toa payoh and which really sold good guitars including the Cort X series and several Epiphone Les pauls and The archtop semi hollow guitar. They also have some ibanez, however there was no les paul 100 there was pretty disappointed. I hope i can save enough to probably buy a les paul 100 or standard which costs aroud 450, 600 respectively but a 2nd hand for probably 330, 450 respectively.

Well thats the way to make a mentos + Diet coke rocket. Trust me a rocket, it flys over houses!!! Heres what you need, a 1.5-2 litre diet Coke, i meant diet coke(or diet pepsi)and some mentos mints. Then u gotta take off the paper covering of mentos mints, quicky uncap the coke cap and put the whole tube of mentos into the coke and cap it back. Now shake it till bubbles form and when u are ready, unscrew the cap alittle until u hear the sizziling sound then throw the bottle overhead(behind) so as the bottle wont hit your face. In the recent Fifa world rankings released on July 12, Singapore is ranked a respectable 111th.

Notably, we are ahead of all our major South-east Asian rivals, such as Thailand (113th), Indonesia (139th), Vietnam (141th) and Malaysia (146th).

And fews years back Singapore has indeed outshine other countries and won the Tiger Cup. What the heck is this, denying Singapore U-23 Soccer team from entering the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar by none other than the Singapore National Olympic Council.

Arent we already good enough? Baihakki Khaizan, Shahril Ishak, Ridhuan Muhammad and Khairul Amri are just some of the important players in the winning run - often outplaying players many years their senior. But why is this still not able to convince?

Although Singapore should have done better in the previous competition, that doesn't mean that 1 should stay down after falling. What about brazil and agentina? Should Ronaldinho quit soccer because he did not perform well? Should Lampard, Gerrard, and Beckham not take any more penalties in their carreer? People make mistakes... It aint a perfect world out there we still got terrorism here living. People will die someday, its a fact...

By playing against stronger teams this will allow the Young lions to prove that they are good and soon they will be able to achieve their dreams World Cup 2010. This seems to be like my school. No medals for soccer, no soccer team. However it was a good feeling to thrash 3n1 today 12-1. Its not about results dude, its about the process. Maybe Miss Tan and Miss Talib ought to learn more. Theres more to life than being just doctors and teachers. Get a life dud.

MOE says that they've got sports school and other shits, but why in other neighbourhood schools not promoting various CCAs? Well in my case the school want to create a CCA if it can perform well and win medals what the fuch is this? Its not like the school has to fork out every single cent to form a soccer team. We've proposed to create a so called STUDENT INITIATED ACTIVITY and no sponsors needed. Firstly the PE HOD agreed that we can do so, and bring us to competitions, but now no competitons, no teams, and most fustratingly NO SOCCER LEAGUE which is our last attempt to promote soccer in my school... Whats the world turning into, all doctors and no patients?
